Since 1979 J R Scientific, Inc. (JRS) has provided the cell culture research and biotech community with high quality cell culture media, sera, and reagents. JRS has pioneered many innovative products that have fostered much of the growth seen in these markets today. As a smaller company, relative to the industry, we have the flexibility to provide a wide range of traditional or custom products to meet the growing needs of today’s market with lower costs, reduced lead times, and attention to the dimensions of product and service quality.
J R Scientific, Inc. is registered with the FDA and licensed by the State of California as a Class I Medical Device Manufacturer. Products are intended primarily for laboratory research or further manufacturing purposes only, unless otherwise stated on the product label.
SHIPPING/STORAGE INFORMATION
All orders are shipped FOB Woodland, California (Terms Net 30 days) and shipping charges are pre-paid and added to the invoice unless otherwise requested at the time order is placed. Orders can be shipped collect to any account using Federal Express, DHL, and UPS. Please be prepared with the account number for collect freight billing. Frozen product shipments within the U.S. are shipped via FedEx or DHL standard overnight on dry ice, and are subject to a dry ice charge of $10/small box, $15/large box.
Sold-in-Storage options are available for most products. Please discuss the details of this with your account representative.

WARRANTIES AND DISCLAIMERS
J R Scientific, Inc. warrants that the products sold are for the described purposes only. Any product that does not meet the listed or mutually agreed upon specifications can be returned within 30 days of receipt. The product will be replaced or the purchase price refunded at J R Scientific, Inc.’s option. J R Scientific, Inc. reserves the right to evaluate the efficacy of the product or provide a refund pursuant to this limited warranty if we reasonably believe that the product has been modified due to improper storage, adulteration, or further processing. By acceptance of shipment from J R Scientific Inc., the buyer explicitly recognizes and agrees that J R Scientific, Inc. shall not be responsible for lost profits, indirect or consequential damages incurred by the buyer or third party user, and personal injuries resulting from use of J R Scientific, Inc.’s products.
RETURN POLICY
The customer service department is available to assist all customers should any problem arise. Please inspect all packages upon arrival and notify J R Scientific, Inc. immediately of any damage or discrepancies. Prior to returning any items, please contact customer service at the above numbers to obtain a Return Goods Authorization Number (RMA). Customer Service Representatives will provide clear instructions for proper return of product and replacement/refund. All products must be returned within 5 business days of the RMA issuance. J R Scientific, Inc. may not accept product for return that has been stored improperly by the end user.
